Way to take some of the best things on earth and completely ruin them.

And it's a little bit morbid, too, when you recall this recent sad story.

Yes, my new favorite writer, Lara Zielin, posted my short story, Holy Donuts, on her blog.

This is awesome on so many levels, not the least of which is her wonderful intro.

She is the author of a novel called -- hold onto your sprinkles -- Donut Days. It debuted last year and comes out in paperback soon.
